Overall I am very happy with this product. I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend, but I think I’ve used it more than she has (self-serving gift?). I haven’t gotten it to produce great creme yet, but we also don’t have a grinder so we’ve been forced to let starbucks do all our grinding for us. I think if we had a grinder we could experiment with different levels of coarseness and fineness of the grounds and probably get decent creme. This is not an amazing machine, and some parts do feel a little cheap, but then again, the machine was cheap. A great deal for the price. I recommend it.
Espresso: Steaming vs Frothing milk on Hamilton Beach 40729?
I bought a cheap espresso machine:http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-40729-Espresso-Cappuccino/dp/B0006FU8AG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1208398730&sr=1-1It hamilton beach cappuccino machine has a frothing nozzle for steaming/frothing milk, but I don't know the exact difference between the two. I meant I know how to froth the milk, but not how to steam it. Anyone familiar with this machine?to below: thanks for your answer. So to steam milk, I turn the dial all the way and give it a full blast, and to froth, I just turn it a little bit? Don't I make more bubble if I give it more steam?
